Finisco have developed a number of bespoke software solutions for clients that have included additional technologies and integration with third party systems. These include:

Mobile Development

Finisco developed an innovative mobile application for Bell Management Services to record and analyse shop stock levels. Data is gathered on PDA / Pocket computers running the windows mobile operating system. Shop stock levels are recorded on site and orders take via the device. This information is then automatically uploaded to the server for reporting back in the main office. The system has resulted in marked improvements in the quality and accuracy of their stock level management information.

Finisco also developed the back end services for the devices, where the data was charted, displayed and distributed online to senior management for daily, weekly and monthly reporting purposes.

Stock Control Interface

For various Finisco e-Commerce clients, the team has delivered numerous bespoke stock control interfaces to the clients proprietary solutions or their "off the shelf" solutions. The interfaces are usually bi-directional with Stock Levels being kept up to date in realtime and checked online at the point of sale. Additional logic is used to inform the client of the stock levels and subsequent order delivery date prior to them completing the online purchase. Once the online purchase has been completed an electronic order is automatically sent to and processed by the stock inventory system, with Finisco managing the messages back to the customer in relation to the order fulfillment process. Such business process logic and bespoke development is not uncommon and allows Finisco to deliver solutions that meet our customers current business flows without them having to alter them considerably.

Accounts Interface

Finisco has interfaced with a number of "off the shelf" accountancy packages. Finisco has a bespoke accountancy interface to "Sage Line 500" that allows the sales and account information obtained online to be automatically uploaded to Sage Line 500 on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The interface provides for dual entry logic, payment reconciliation and balance reconciliation e.g. for those customers who have purchased Gift Vouchers but have not redeemed them to date.
